Adam Dumperfoo

1.Who are you and what do you do?

Hello I'm Adam Dumper aka Dumperfoo, Dumps, Dump La Rock. I'm a graphic designer, promoter of the Blunt Club at Yucca Tap Room (just celebrated 10years). Also I do live art on stage with the bands The Insects, Drunken Immortals, and Crusher Sound System and when im not doing all that I work at Wet Paint Art Supply in Tempe.

2. How did you get your start?

I started back in 1991 at The Grind Nightclub in Phx as a barback, bar tender, dj. I got into painting some murals at various clubs in the 90's, then started designing flyers and throwing shows solo and with my boy Dis-Go in the mid 90's. 2000's started at Wet paint and worked with Ted at Headquarters doing art, throwing shows like the Blunt Club, gallery events, live art, perfecting my craft. And been doing it all over the place, traveling, painting, doing my thing ever since.

3. What inspires you?

The music and energy of the crowd is a big inspiartion. Also my friends, fans, and any one doing it bigger and better helps me strive to do better myself.

4.What do you like about Arizona?

I love Arizona. People ask me why i dont move to the Bay, or LA. I love the people here and the fact that it's not saturated with the same shit at every club, although often people duplicate. It's also really hard to get noticed here. I like that. Makes me push even harder. And trust me, people in other cities know what's up with the talent in AZ.

5.What would you like to accomplish before you die?

A few of the bucket list are... fight Chuck Norris, grow my beard and braid it into a bird cage , raise prize winning clams, take my girl Jessica to Hawaii and make her wear a coconut bra.
