Yeah I'll admit it, I first heard the Meat Puppets when I listened to "Backwater" off their 1994 album Too High To Die. I was 11 years old back then and thought that song and album were amazing! Still do. Of course as time went on I grew into many more bands and the Meat Puppets fell back on my list of "Actively Listening To."  But when I heard that they were releasing a new album, Lollipop, earlier this year I thought what a great chance to get back into a band I had loved so much. I'm glad I did. Lollipop is not only an outstanding album for the Meat Puppets, it's an outstanding album period...
