It's a little hard to find if you haven't been there before. The bathrooms are covered in graffiti. People occasionally drink a little extra and get rowdy. What I'm basically saying is that The Rogue is the most fabulous dive bar Scottsdale has to offer. In addition to adding a little character to the town, The Rogue also brings some of the region's best bands to their stages.

Just north of McKellips on Scottsdale Road, the bar mixing place for a variety of musical subcultures: rocknrollers, indie kids, punks, urban hippies and locals meet and drink. Most nights at The Rogue usually guarantees a show worth seeing. Innovative line-ups often lead to mixed genre shows or an onslaught of ridiculously good, seldom heard rockers that don't get enough play in this super folk-friendly town.

Throughout the month of January The Rogue gave us the Kinch residency. Every Saturday night, Arizona favorites Kinch took to the stage and brought friends along to join them like Boys and Frogs, Ticky Tacky, and Sun Ghost.

Start early, go to nearby Green for dinner, and then plan for a late night. The Rogue knows a rocking good time... cheap PBR and lots of great live music.
