When I say the album is more accessible that previous releases I simply mean the shaping of sounds on The Real Sounds From Hell Recordings demonstrates a greater regard for songcraft and continuity. Chainsaws and screaming, beeps and screaming, it all has its place within the context of the album.

The Melted Cassettes do unadulterated rage better than anyone. The Real Sounds From Hell Recordings might not be the party music you’re looking for on a Friday night. Instead, it is something raw and emotional to be experienced.

The Real Sounds from Hell Recordings

by Carly Schorman
Please understand that when I say that The Real Sounds from Hell Recordings is Melted Cassettes’ most accessible album, I in no way mean the album is “accessible.” Known for their dissonant, almost violent recordings, the Melted Cassettes do not create user friendly listening experiences but rather assaulting aural rushes of experimental sound and artistry.
