The creation of art can be a struggle, particularly in a world that seems intent on constantly beating one down. Yes, a struggle, but a beautiful one according to Ishmael Dueñas, curator and participating artist for the aptly titled exhibit that took over Bragg’s Pie Factory. In the Beautiful Struggle vibrant colors met darker themes in a strangely alluring juxtaposition similar to, well, life.
